This Standard applies to the design and implementation of non-residential buildings to ensure the required indoor air parameters throughout the ventilation system taking into consideration the indoor and outdoor air parameters, maximum allowed noise level as well as healthcare and economical requirements. The standard does not duplicate what is presented in the standard EVS-EN 16798-3:2017 and the technical report CEN/TR 16797-4:2017, but it does accept the design criteria and basic requirements given in the standard for both rooms and systems, as well as the specification of air types and systems and everything related to indoor climate.
