This part of ISO 3807 specifies the basic requirements for acetylene cylinders without fusible plugs or other pressure relief devices with a maximum nominal water capacity of 150 l, including :

a)  the method for determining the porosity of the porous material;
b)  the methods for determining the maximum working pressure;
c)  the procedure for type testing;
d)  the procedure for production/batch testing.
