Although the standard’s status is withdrawn, it still has the presumption of conformity in the meaning of regulation 2014/35/EU and conformance with the regulation ’s requirements can be guaranteed by using the withdrawn version of the standard. The presumption of conformity is valid until a corresponding amendment is published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

This part of IEC 60695-10 specifies the mould strees relief distortion test method for Product Committes.
It is applicable to equipment including parts of polymeric materials. This test is intended to simulate the effects caused by relieving of moulding stress by conditioning the product or part at a temperature higher than the maximum normal operating temperature and observing the nature of the resulting changes.
