Although the standard’s status is withdrawn, it still has the presumption of conformity in the meaning of regulation 2014/68/EU and conformance with the regulation ’s requirements can be guaranteed by using the withdrawn version of the standard. The purpose of this European Standard is to ensure that the hazards associated with water-tube boilers are reduced to a minimum by the proper application of the design according to this part of EN 12952.
