Participating in the meetings of mirror committees

To participate in a meeting

• the committee submits an application to EVS to participate in the technical working group meeting of a European or international standardisation organisation;
• the participants register their participation in the registration portal; in some cases, EVS does this.

After the registration

• organise your trip and participate in the meeting or
• participate in a virtual meeting.

After the meeting

• submit your mission participation report to EVS.

Who covers the costs of the meetings?

Usually, the costs for participating in the meetings of the mirror committees of European and international standardisation organisations are covered by standardisation participants (members of EVS committees), e.g. private companies, professional associations, state authorities, etc.

If a committee member is unable to fund their participation in a meeting of a mirror committee, it is possible to apply for a mission allowance from EVS.
